Healthy Eats

In my previous post I mentioned that my family and I just got back from a road trip to the beach. One of the things we made sure we had plenty of was snacks. Probably a smart move for a family of 10 plus. Would you believe it if I told you that you can find healthy snacks at 7-Eleven?

You know how it is on road trips, someone usually needs to take a stretch-your-legs break or a snack break. Of course it’s easier to gravitate towards the not-so-healthy snacks. Guilty! No longer is that the case thanks to Quest Nutrition!

You all probably know by now that I’m a huge fan of Quest Nutrition products, and I’m excited that I can find Quest Nutrition Beyond Cereal Bars 24/7 at 7-Eleven. Beyond Cereal Bars are not just for those who are traveling, but also great for those whose schedules tend to make them eat the most important meal of the day (breakfast) on the run. Beyond Cereal Bars have 110 calories and 12 grams of protein. You really can’t beat that for a healthy breakfast/snack bar!

I’m all about healthy swaps, but if eating healthy is not making my palette happyβ€”I’ll pass. Or I WILL find a way to enjoy the food that I love without the guilt. That’s why I love Quest Nutrition’s quality ingredients, such as allulose. If you’ve never heard of allulose, it’s a sweetener that comes from Mother Nature. It can also be found in figs, raisins, and maple syrup. It’s virtually calorie-free. The foodie in me won’t allow me to sacrifice quality for taste. With Quest Nutrition Beyond Cereal Bars, I don’t have to!

The Flavors: Chocolate, Waffle, and Cinnamon Roll

I know this is BEYOND a cereal bar, but this chocolate flavored bar would be perfect with a glass of milk!

Stop by your local 7-Eleven for a convenient, healthy breakfast bar! I hope on your next road trip or visit, you’ll consider trying these out. Don’t forget you can find Quest Nutrition Beyond Cereal Bars 24/7 at your local 7-Eleven!

Have you tried the Beyond Cereal Bars yet? What’s your favorite flavor?

By the way, Happy BELATED 7/11 Day!

In my previous post, I mentioned that 2016 will be the year of celebrating non-scale victories! There are so many things we can bring out the party favors for other than the numbers on the scale. I often times get overwhelmed and frustrated if I don’t have a plan. That’s why I think it’s important […]

I absolutely love game day because it’s a great time to enjoy football, fun, and good eats. Let’s be honest, football takes the sideline when it comes to food. I’m always brainstorming about or menu items to prepare for game day. Having foods that everyone can enjoy that offers versatility is always a plus! I […]
